DevOps Automation (Platform) Engineer (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD platforms and supporting infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Build and operate Kubernetes-based container platforms, including Azure and Rancher/RKE2 environments.
• Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines, templates, automation scripts, and Helm-based deployment solutions.
• Review application and infrastructure designs for scalability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Administer and upgrade CI/CD platform components, application servers, and build agents while supporting development teams.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer, and collect and report platform metrics such as cycle time, uptime, error rates, and platform usage.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, including 3 years administering Azure DevOps Server and 2 years deploying applications on Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum education level 6 qualification.
• CKAD, CKA, or an equivalent internationally recognised certification.
• Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services administration.
• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design, configuration, automation, containerisation, Kubernetes deployment, Helm charts, operators, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation; strong English required.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
