Industrial Cybersecurity Test Manager

Location: Hybrid (remote/office) in Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity testing strategies for IT and OT systems supporting critical energy transmission infrastructure.
• Define approaches for continuously verifying cybersecurity requirements and maintaining compliance across systems and solutions.
• Support departments in developing cybersecurity testing capabilities, competencies, environments, and best practices.
• Provide cybersecurity testing expertise to customers, internal departments, R&D projects, and external projects.
• Align testing activities with cybersecurity processes to ensure consistent, traceable, and repeatable execution.
• Drive cross-functional adoption and deployment of the cybersecurity testing strategy.

Requirements

• University degree in IT security, computer science, cybersecurity, electronics, electrical engineering with an IT security focus, or comparable qualification with extensive OT or product security experience.
• Experience performing cybersecurity testing in OT or product security, including tools such as Kali Linux, Nessus, Wireshark, and Nmap.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations including IEC 62443, CRA, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with firewalls, certificates, intrusion detection systems, TLS/SSL, and 802.1X.
• Ability to develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, with familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, iterative planning, and backlog management.
• Business-level English is required; willingness to travel internationally for less than 30% of the time is expected.
