Project Manager Onshore

Location: Hybrid (Remote/Office) in Bucharest, Romania; international travel of less than 30% required

What you will do

• Manage electrical and mechanical engineering teams across onshore grid technology execution projects.
• Evaluate customer specifications, EPC contracts, questionnaires, deviations, proposal documents, and cost calculations.
• Prepare engineering schedules and supervise deadlines, quality, costs, resources, progress, and reporting.
• Coordinate interfaces, documentation, design reviews, subcontracted engineering packages, and supplier deliverables.
• Lead claim management, negotiations, troubleshooting, technical evaluations, and supplier selection with procurement.
• Support factory acceptance tests and provide technical support during commissioning.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent education, with at least 5 years of EPC market experience.
• Experience in project engineering and project management within complex, cross-functional teams and in customer clarification.
• Knowledge of BIM methodology, related tools, data exchange strategies, engineering design criteria, and document review.
• Ability to design electrical system configurations, define functional control philosophies, and analyze local standards and codes.
• Knowledge of cooling systems, building services, electrical and mechanical systems, and international AC/DC standards including IEC, IEEE, EN, and VDE.
• Business-level fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally for less than 30% of the time are required.
