GRC Coordinator

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom. Right to work in the UK without sponsorship is required. Occasional travel to European or US offices may be required.

Salary: £30,000–£42,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate the day-to-day Third-Party Risk Management process from vendor intake through sign-off.
• Send, track, and follow up on vendor security questionnaires and assurance evidence, including ISO 27001 certificates, SOC 2 reports, and penetration test summaries.
• Maintain the vendor register, risk tiering, reassessment schedules, GRC documentation, and audit-ready trackers.
• Serve as the first point of contact for security questionnaires, customer and prospect due diligence, and queries related to compliance frameworks and regulations.
• Triage and prioritise requests in Jira, assign work to GRC team members, and track completion.
• Coordinate security awareness training follow-ups, meeting actions, and evidence collection for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with workplace and collaboration tools, including Jira, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Methodical, detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive when working independently in a remote setting.
• Genuine interest in developing a career in compliance, security, or risk.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to European or US offices.

Nice to have

• Exposure to compliance, GRC, risk, audit, information security, or related coordination and administrative work.
• Awareness of ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.
• Familiarity with Jira, Vanta, KnowBe4, or similar GRC, ticketing, or training tools.
• Experience in a SaaS, software, fast-growth, or multi-entity business.
• Relevant foundational qualification or ongoing study, such as ISO 27001 Foundation, BCS/ISEB Data Protection, or CIPP/E.
