Location: On-site in Essen, Germany, five days per week

What you will do
- Support the development of electrical and electronic systems for transport refrigeration units.
- Assist with prototype builds, test setups, and electrical measurements.
- Execute, document, and evaluate tests and validation activities.
- Take ownership of selected sub-projects and advance them independently.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and engineering records.
- Collaborate with testing, production, quality, and service teams using modern engineering tools.
Requirements
- Enrollment in Electrical Engineering or a comparable degree program, with at least one year remaining.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Structured, reliable, self-driven, and proactive working style.
- Interest in practical development work and modern engineering tools.
- Good German and English skills, written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Practical experience from internships, projects, or laboratory work.
- Experience with testing, prototypes, or electrical measurement setups.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter, Creo Schematics, or similar software.
