Location: Michigan; hybrid Workplace for Your Day model with a principally in-person work environment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, except qualified bilingual candidates in Japanese and English or Chinese and English.
Salary: $115,500–$150,000 annually for roles in CO, IL, OH, and MA; applicable geographic location should be confirmed in the position description.

What you will do
- Administer irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, agency accounts, ILITs, and estates, including asset oversight, distributions, documentation, fiduciary decisions, and client-specific planning.
- Prepare materials for and participate in Trust Administration and Trust Investment Committees.
- Advise grantors, beneficiaries, legal counsel, financial advisors, and other stakeholders on trust-related matters.
- Coordinate holistic client services and manage, delegate, coach, and mentor staff.
- Apply investment, estate, insurance, tax, cash flow, philanthropic, and retirement planning knowledge.
- Develop client relationships, referral networks, practice expansion, and business development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 4–6 years of experience in personal trust account administration, financial planning, investments, and/or estate planning.
- At least one advanced degree or professional designation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented leadership skills and ongoing development of technical expertise in the trust and financial services industries.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required, with the stated exception for qualified Japanese-English or Chinese-English bilingual candidates.
Nice to have
- Juris Doctor or Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation.
- Certified Financial Planner or Certified Public Accountant designation.
- Japanese-English or Chinese-English bilingual proficiency for candidates qualifying for the sponsorship exception.
