Lead Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Research and create vulnerability signatures for Industrial Control Systems.
• Investigate emerging technologies, zero-day vulnerabilities, and active attacks.
• Develop signatures to identify vulnerable assets in hirify.global products.
• Automate routine security research and engineering tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security with a bachelor's degree in computer science, or a master's degree in computer science or cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerabilities and attacks including cross-site scripting, privilege escalation, and remote code execution.
• Proficiency with regular expressions, Python or Bash, network analysis tools, and packet capture analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, FTP, SSH, TLS/SSL, and SMTP.
• System administration experience with Windows or Unix platforms, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lua, virtualization software, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
• Experience developing security-related tools and programs.
• OSCP or similar certifications.
• Ability to manage projects independently.
