Pentesting Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; includes up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Conduct penetration tests and technical assessments of web and mobile applications.
• Assess network infrastructure, Wi-Fi networks, cloud environments, and artificial intelligence models.
• Plan and execute Red Team exercises that simulate real-world attacks in controlled environments.
• Participate in Purple Team exercises with defensive teams to improve threat detection, response, and mitigation.
• Identify and report vulnerabilities, providing technical recommendations for effective remediation.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement security best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Experience in penetration testing across network infrastructure, web and mobile applications, cloud environments, Active Directory, and wireless networks.
• Experience planning and executing Red Team exercises, including evasion, persistence, and exploitation techniques.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automating offensive tasks.
• Knowledge of PTES, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP methodologies.
• Availability to work in the hybrid model in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain.
