Specialist, IT Infrastructure (Palo Alto Firewalls)

hirify.global is hiring for an IT infrastructure role supporting R&D lab networking and cloud operations.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy changes to the R&D lab network environment.
• Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto firewalls through Panorama.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement network security best practices.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of R&D lab networks.
• Support east/west traffic and R&D cloud operations as the firewall subject matter expert.
• Document system designs, operational procedures, platforms, equipment, diagrams, and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience with networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, IPv4/IPv6, and Palo Alto Firewalls/Panorama.
• Experience deploying and managing network security solutions in mid- to large-scale enterprise networks.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and QoS, with experience across core, distributed, edge, access, data center, and security environments.
• Experience automating network configuration, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
• Strong collaboration, communication, project planning, documentation, training, and technical guidance skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform networking.
