Senior Back-end Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure Automation) (Cloud Infrastructure/E-commerce): Building and scaling core backend services, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure for 10X business growth with an accent on 99.999% availability, sub-millisecond latency, and self-service deployment automation. Focus on designing highly concurrent architectures, optimizing Kubernetes and CI/CD environments, and solving complex infrastructure problems across public and hybrid clouds.

What you will do
- Design, build, and operate high-performance, highly available backend services supporting 10X business growth.
- Architect distributed systems and APIs capable of handling massive concurrency with sub-millisecond latency.
- Define cloud infrastructure architecture and technical vision targeting 99.999% availability.
- Develop self-service platform tools and Infrastructure as Code deployment automation with Terraform, Python, and Go.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and Docker environments, automated testing, monitoring, security, networking, and cloud usage.
- Provide technical leadership through architectural reviews, mentorship, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of Go, Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including public and hybrid cloud environments.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux internals, Terraform, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
- Experience delivering systems requiring 99.999% availability and low-latency performance, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
