Journalist (Technology)

Location: Full on-site in Limassol, Cyprus

What you will do

• Research and develop stories about technology, startups, business, innovation, and digital trends.
• Write accurate, engaging news articles, features, interviews, and opinion-led content.
• Monitor local and international news to identify relevant and timely topics.
• Interview entrepreneurs, business leaders, technology professionals, investors, founders, and industry experts.
• Attend industry events, conferences, product launches, networking events, and press briefings.
• Verify facts, sources, quotes, and information while contributing original ideas to the editorial agenda.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journalist, Technology Journalist, Business Journalist, Content Writer, or in a similar editorial role.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interest in technology, startups, innovation, business, and the digital economy.
• Excellent research and fact-checking skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify newsworthy topics, develop original story ideas, and work independently.
• Strong interviewing and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with sources and industry professionals.

Nice to have

• Experience covering the Cyprus technology, startup, or business ecosystem.
