TL;DR
NOC Controller Intern (Network Operations): Monitoring network operations, service alarms, and dashboards while assisting with incident, change, and escalation management with an accent on operational procedures, health checks, and accurate incident documentation. Focus on validating network health, coordinating shift handovers, and supporting structured responses to live incidents in an onsite NOC environment.
Location: Onsite in Batam, Indonesia. Housing and relocation assistance are available to eligible interns. A valid work permit or visa for Indonesia is required.

What you will do
- Monitor network tools, NMS dashboards, service alarms, and operational status under supervision.
- Support incident management, change handling, call-out management, and service notifications.
- Follow procedures for incident handling, change requests, escalations, operational reporting, and closure.
- Perform basic network health checks and monitoring validation.
- Document incidents, actions taken, and lessons learned.
- Participate in shift handovers and daily operational briefings.
Requirements
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in telecommunications, IT, electronics, or a related field.
- Valid work permit or visa for Indonesia is required.
- Basic understanding of network monitoring concepts, system operations, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, accountability, and ownership.
- Effective written and verbal English communication is required.
- Willingness to learn in a structured NOC environment and follow processes and procedures.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices, Linux, Unix, Windows, scripting, or network monitoring tools.
- Exposure to telecommunications, satellite operations, or language and web programming.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks during incidents, and adapt to shift-based routines.
