What you will do
- Provide day-to-day production support and batch job execution for applications running on AWS Cloud, Java, .NET, and SQL databases.
- Support life insurance point-of-sale and digital platforms by maintaining application availability, stability, performance, and service quality.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data-related issues, including recurring problems.
- Execute SQL queries, data fixes, and database modifications in response to operational and business-user requests.
- Monitor system performance and availability, identify potential risks, and coordinate unresolved fixes with application development teams.
- Document support activities, incidents, and resolutions according to company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application production support, application maintenance, system support, or application operations.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS services, SQL databases, PostgreSQL, and application troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, change, and release management within IT service management practices.
- Understanding of application monitoring, root cause analysis, SDLC, Agile, DevOps, API integration, and cloud computing concepts.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or a related industry is preferred.
