TL;DR
Senior Manager, Direct Flash Module Operations Engineering (Hardware): Leading APAC operations engineering execution for data storage hardware, connecting product development, suppliers, and manufacturing partners with an accent on NPI, supplier quality, and manufacturing excellence. Focus on improving yield, resolving root causes, managing component lifecycles, and driving DFM, DFT, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives across regional operations.
Location: Must be based at the partner location in Hsinchu, Taiwan

What you will do
- Lead and scale distributed Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, and Component Engineering teams across the United States, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
- Serve as the Operations Engineering interface for Hsinchu-based NPI programs and coordinate product introduction and manufacturing ramp.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test initiatives, including early risk identification and mitigation.
- Own supplier qualification, performance management, audits, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee APAC manufacturing quality, yield improvement, failure analysis, root-cause resolution, and process capability.
- Define APAC Operations Engineering strategy and improve cost, quality, and cycle time using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality in electronics, hardware, or data center industries.
- Experience managing regional or global engineering teams and executing NPI and manufacturing ramps in APAC.
- Expertise in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, DFM, DFT, PCBA, and system integration.
- Experience with contract manufacturing models including EMS, JDM, and ODM.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams across regions and cultures, with strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
