Senior Customer Success Engineer, Robotics Software and Automation (Robotics)

Location: Singapore; frequent international travel across the APAC region is required for customer engagements.

What you will do

• Partner with customers and internal teams to deliver complex robotic automation engagements.
• Conceptualize industrial robotics solutions and define the path from architecture to production deployment.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain software based on the product suite, or guide customers in applying it independently.
• Lead communication and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Connect customer feedback with the wider product team and contribute to product roadmap decisions.
• Support long-term lifecycle success and adoption of industrial automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience delivering modern industrial automation solutions into production, debugging issues, navigating ambiguity, and driving results.
• Advanced end-to-end understanding of industrial automation systems and scalable solution design.
• Professional software development experience with C++ and/or Python.
• Experience working with customers in a forward-deployed technical role and collaborating with business development and product functions.
• Professional fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally across APAC are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial robot programming, PLC programming, machine vision, industrial bus systems such as EtherCAT, virtual commissioning, or simulation.
• Experience with Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, Bazel, cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, or real-time architectures.
• Experience building operator interfaces with modern web frameworks such as Angular.
• Familiarity with ROS 2, its major frameworks, and Gazebo.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in robotic system deployments.
