What you will do
- Design, deploy, and optimize mission-critical applications and databases in Kubernetes and other container orchestration environments using Portworx.
- Provide advanced technical escalation support to the Technical Support Engineering team.
- Develop joint solutions with technology partners to expand the Portworx ecosystem and improve interoperability.
- Build and deliver demos, reference architectures, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and customer-facing best practices.
- Support customer deployment, integration, and optimization throughout the Portworx adoption lifecycle.
- Advise strategic and enterprise customers in Japan and collaborate with sales teams on adoption, expansion, and long-term satisfaction.
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese proficiency, including strong technical writing skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of compute infrastructure, storage systems, and container orchestration across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure and their storage and compute services.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, KubeVirt, or distributed and cloud storage architectures.
- Practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk, plus senior-level customer-facing experience.
