EHS Specialist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Conduct occupational safety and health risk assessments and recommend risk-reduction measures.
• Monitor workplace conditions, equipment, and safety controls, coordinating required inspections and testing.
• Advise on the safe selection, use, and maintenance of work equipment, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment.
• Investigate workplace injuries and work-related health issues, identifying causes and corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver safety training and develop instructions for safe work practices.
• Monitor legal, regulatory, and internal safety compliance, including taking action to stop unsafe work where required by law.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in occupational safety and health, engineering, technical sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Serbian occupational safety and health legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk assessment, workplace inspections, incident investigation, and employee safety training.

Nice to have

• Experience with environmental, health and safety management systems and related standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying risks and continuously improving workplace safety.
