Virtual Fencing Support Specialist (IoT)

Location: On-site in Morrinsville, New Zealand, with travel to the Auckland headquarters once or twice a fortnight and occasional visits to customer farms.

What you will do

• Handle complex farmer support queries through in-app chat.
• Analyze collar data, replay events, diagnose issues, and determine what happened.
• Monitor cattle training at newly onboarded farms and provide farmers with support, insights, and advice.
• Test firmware releases by conducting collar field checks and analyzing data before wider deployment.
• Work with support and onboarding teams in Auckland and provide hands-on assistance at customer farms when required.

Requirements

• Passion for agriculture and a strong understanding of everyday farming.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to investigate problems and work hands-on in the field.
• Ability to communicate directly and constructively with farmers.
• Strong critical-thinking and complex problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
• Availability to work on-site at the R&D farm near Morrinsville, travel to Auckland regularly, and occasionally visit customer farms.
