Graduate Application Support Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Monitor production services and provide first-line support to Calastone customers.
• Investigate service incidents, coordinate resolutions, and pursue issues through root-cause identification.
• Support customer onboarding, implementation activities, and pre-production checks before production release.
• Work with the QA team on rotational quality assurance cycles and gain pre-release knowledge of new functionality.
• Create knowledge-base content to reduce escalations to second-line support.
• Collaborate with customers, internal technical teams, project staff, and Client Delivery throughout implementations.

Requirements

• Good technical background with application support and operations experience in a client-facing financial environment.
• Experience with databases and SQL, including creating and running queries.
• Knowledge of MQ, SWIFT, ISO 15022, ISO 20022, FIX, XML, messaging authentication and certification techniques, or secure FTP environments.
• Experience with project delivery life cycles and industry best practices.
• Business-level written and spoken English and Italian are essential.
• Willingness to work alternative shifts, including occasional night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ITIL.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.
• Spanish language skills.
