Product Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Tyler, Texas; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $108,236.66–$151,479.99

What you will do

• Perform secure product development activities, including architectural analysis, threat modeling, penetration testing, SAST, DAST, SCA, and fuzz testing.
• Define system and product requirements that reduce potential security risks.
• Manage external vendors providing cybersecurity services.
• Lead and participate in incident response activities.
• Lead tabletop exercises and the Security Champions program.
• Monitor emerging security threats, trends, and regulations and recommend product security improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in microprocessor-based software design for embedded systems with cloud connectivity.
• At least 4 years of experience in product security.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with a geographically distributed team and travel up to 15%.
