DevOps Engineer (Azure/AKS): Designing and improving CI/CD automation, cloud-native infrastructure, observability, and production operations for Viva.com’s integrated payments and banking platform with an accent on Azure DevOps, AKS, Infrastructure-as-Code, Datadog, and AI-assisted automation. Focus on building reliable deployment workflows, improving incident detection and operational visibility, and optimizing scalability, performance, and cloud costs.

What you will do
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines across applications, services, and environments.
- Develop deployment automation with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, scripting, templates, and reusable components.
- Operate and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service and other cloud-native workloads.
- Build Infrastructure-as-Code practices for repeatable, secure, and scalable infrastructure delivery.
- Implement Datadog monitoring and observability, including dashboards, logs, metrics, alerts, and integrations.
- Improve reliability, incident detection, release governance, operational visibility, scalability, and cost efficiency in collaboration with engineering, SRE, QA, security, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, repositories, service connections, artifacts, and release automation.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service, and containerization with Docker.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash/Shell, or Python, plus Windows and Linux server administration, observability, version control, troubleshooting, and technical collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with Datadog Observability, AKS, KEDA, autoscaling, and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience with Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Azure APIs, REST, JSON, SOAP, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, mobile CI/CD, CI/CD security, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows and cloud-native automation.
