Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan; office-based at 15 Republic Square. Permanent full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule and a choice of 08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00 working hours.

What you will do

• Develop, consolidate, analyze, and monitor Group financial plans and forecasts, including budgets and financial models.
• Participate in strategic planning, long-term forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with business units and subsidiaries to collect data and build well-founded financial models.
• Forecast Group-level cash flows and working capital.
• Administer the budgeting process, support users of the automated budgeting system, and monitor budget limits and variances.
• Improve financial planning, automation, and reporting quality.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, or a similar analytical role.
• Higher education in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial models and large data set analysis; confident PowerPoint use.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, budget monitoring, and three-statement financial modeling.
• Practical knowledge of investment appraisal techniques, including NPV, IRR, and sensitivity analysis, plus strong accounting knowledge.
• English at B2 level or higher; experience with 1C and Big 4 or similar professional services firms is an advantage.
