Electrical Software Support Engineer

What you will do

• Provide second-line technical support for customers using electrical design and calculation applications compliant with BS7671 regulations.
• Answer support calls, resolve customer queries, and complete support and defect tickets in the CRM database.
• Investigate defect root causes and assist with resolving customer defects according to company procedures.
• Prepare and improve monthly reports, defect lists, and enhancement lists.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to the sales team and other support colleagues.
• Test new software versions and assist with user documentation, manuals, and help files in collaboration with development.

Requirements

• Experience with electrical design and calculations is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD is advantageous.
• A degree or higher in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to provide customer-facing support.
