Electrical Software Support Engineer 1st Line (Revit/AutoCAD)

What you will do

• Provide first-line support for electrical design calculation and regulation queries through calls, emails, and internal requests.
• Support customers using Prodesign, Protect, Singlecable, and PowerNET, with a focus on emerging 3D applications.
• Apply BS 7671 standards to troubleshoot electrical design calculations and resolve customer issues.
• Record work, maintain customer support tickets, and document defects and bugs in the CRM database.
• Investigate defects, identify root causes, collect and analyze data, and report issues clearly.
• Coordinate with internal and external support staff and developers to plan and implement solutions.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of experience in electrical design, software support, or a similar support role.
• Degree-level education or relevant professional experience.
• Good understanding of British electrical standards and regulations, including BS 7671.
• Strong interpersonal, reasoning, influencing, negotiation, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent issues and collaborating with departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex electrical concepts to internal teams and external customers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD.
