Network Engineer II (Networking): Maintaining and troubleshooting customer network infrastructure with an accent on Cisco platforms, Layer 2/3 protocols, monitoring, and DDoS mitigation. Focus on resolving network events, handling escalations, documenting changes and root-cause analyses, and supporting customers under high-pressure conditions.

What you will do
- Provide customer support through ticketing systems and phone channels.
- Monitor infrastructure, detect network events, and troubleshoot issues through resolution.
- Mitigate DDoS attacks and protect customer and shared infrastructure.
- Document planned and unplanned events, maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- Handle customer requests, engineer escalations, vendor escalations, and Incident Management coordination.
- Participate in root-cause analysis, process improvements, and assigned or self-identified network projects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent networking experience in a command-line-oriented environment.
- At least 18 months of experience configuring and resolving issues with OSPF and/or BGP.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of supported Cisco, Arista, and related network platforms.
- Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and features, including STP, HSRP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and DWDM.
- CCNP-level aptitude, customer service experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Schedule flexibility for regular weekend-day and holiday work as required.
