Network Engineer II (Networking)

What you will do

• Provide customer support through ticketing systems and phone channels.
• Monitor infrastructure, detect network events, and troubleshoot issues through resolution.
• Mitigate DDoS attacks and protect customer and shared infrastructure.
• Document planned and unplanned events, maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions.
• Handle customer requests, engineer escalations, vendor escalations, and Incident Management coordination.
• Participate in root-cause analysis, process improvements, and assigned or self-identified network projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent networking experience in a command-line-oriented environment.
• At least 18 months of experience configuring and resolving issues with OSPF and/or BGP.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of supported Cisco, Arista, and related network platforms.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and features, including STP, HSRP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and DWDM.
• CCNP-level aptitude, customer service experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Schedule flexibility for regular weekend-day and holiday work as required.
