TL;DR
Senior Databricks Data Engineer (Databricks/Python): Building scalable data processing solutions and pipelines for large, complex datasets across AWS, Azure, or GCP with an accent on cloud and Big Data engineering. Focus on designing secure, consistent, and scalable architectures, applying DevOps best practices, and transforming data with modern frameworks.
Location: Poland; 100% remote
Rate: Up to 160 PLN/h net on a B2B contract

What you will do
- Design and implement Databricks data processing solutions for large-scale and diverse datasets.
- Build and enhance data pipelines using Python and cloud-native tools.
- Collaborate with solution architects to define and maintain data engineering best practices.
- Ensure data consistency, security, and scalability in cloud-based environments.
- Work across the full Software Development Life Cycle and apply DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in data engineering with hands-on Databricks expertise.
- Strong Python programming skills for automation and data transformation.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Data Lake, Snowflake, or Synapse.
- Hands-on PySpark experience and relevant Databricks or cloud certifications.
