Senior Software Engineer - Cash Flow (Java, Spring, AWS) (Fintech)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with an expectation of three days per week on site

What you will do

• Own products and services end-to-end, from requirements through production deployment.
• Design and build scalable products and services for customers at massive scale.
• Solve complex technical problems and contribute to architecture and technical-direction decisions.
• Take full operational responsibility for owned services.
• Collaborate in small, autonomous agile teams using practices such as pair and mob programming.
• Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and help evolve engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Multiple experiences with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Java.
• Experience designing and building scalable products and services.
• Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented, collaborative, pragmatic mindset.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Experience with, or strong interest in, accounting systems or ledgers is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in accounting and fintech domain complexities.
