Data Operations Specialist (GIS)

Location: Must be based in Minsk, Belarus (On-site)

hirify.global is a leading real-time location platform providing tools for navigation and location-aware applications used by millions of developers.

What you will do

• Review large volumes of traffic data, including road incidents, constructions, and closures.
• Perform root-cause analysis on customer issues using various data sources and internal tools.
• Execute high-quality edits on OpenStreetMap (OSM) and internal data sources based on established guidelines.
• Conduct investigations, identify patterns, and generate detailed analytical reports.
• Collaborate with teammates, managers, and engineers to optimize workflows, tools, and services.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work a 2/2 shift schedule (2 days on, 2 days off) from the office, including day (8am-8pm) and night (8pm-8am) shifts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns in large datasets.
• English proficiency: B1 (intermediate) level required for daily communication and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of traffic regulations.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows.

Nice to have

• Background in GIS or cartography; familiarity with OSM.
• Practical experience with AI tools for automation or data retrieval.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, JS, or low-code platforms.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
