What you will do
- Lead the design and delivery of modern, production-grade web applications using contemporary UI technologies and frameworks.
- Own technical direction, architecture, standards, software quality, testing strategy, and delivery velocity.
- Lead and mentor engineers across workstreams while managing priorities, delegation, and continuous improvement.
- Advise client stakeholders, translate business objectives into technical strategies, and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to practice development, solution design, technical storytelling, and business development initiatives.
- Support innovation involving AI/LLM-based solutions, automation, and engineering accelerators.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and building complex commercial-grade software systems.
- Experience leading UI development for large-scale, multi-year greenfield projects from conception through deployment.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with one or more modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end web application architecture, APIs, data flow, and performance.
- Experience with SDLC practices, CI/CD, automated testing strategies, and quality management.
- Professional experience in banking, payments, or financial services, plus strong stakeholder communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/LLM tooling, automation frameworks, or engineering agents.
- Backend engineering experience with .NET, Java, or Python.
- Experience with AWS or Azure and financial products, platforms, or data-intensive systems.
- Experience in complex enterprise environments, community building, mentoring, or internal practice leadership.
