2027 Internship - Quantitative Strategist (Fintech)

Location: Singapore; onsite 10-week program from June 7 to August 13, 2027, with some flexibility

hirify.global is a financial technology firm operating proprietary trading and client-facing businesses across global financial markets.

What you will do

• Improve trading algorithms used in the customer market-making business.
• Transform large trading datasets into usable trading models.
• Apply quantitative analysis and data analysis tools to discover patterns and develop trading ideas.
• Complete one or two projects with guidance from several senior mentors.
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, developers, and other teams.

Requirements

• Be a rising junior or expected to be ready for full-time employment between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Be pursuing a PhD in science, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Have challenging quantitative coursework, a strong GPA, and exceptional mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Have strong programming skills, especially in C/C++, Python, and Pandas.
• Communicate technical and non-technical ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, flexibility, and an interest in financial markets.
