DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka; position based in Sri Lanka. Remote-friendly, remote-first environment.

What you will do

• Lead vulnerability scan analysis and triage across the containerized cloud platform.
• Coordinate remediation with engineering teams and route findings to component owners.
• Remediate vulnerabilities by upgrading dependencies, rebuilding container images, and contributing code fixes.
• Test fixes and verify remediation through pre- and post-deployment rescanning.
• Maintain vulnerability management tooling, automation, documentation, and compliance artifacts.
• Support FedRAMP monitoring, customer security reviews, incident response, and vulnerability-related escalations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in application security, product security, or DevSecOps, plus 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in at least two languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with dependency management, CI/CD, Git, code review, and software testing.
• Strong understanding of container security, vulnerability management, CVE assessment, and security scanning tools.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes security concepts and the ability to analyze exploit paths, affected components, and contextual risk.
• Strong written and verbal communication, follow-through, and ability to coordinate remediation across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO 27001, or banking regulations.
