Software Development Engineer III (ML Platform)

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable MLOps services, shared inference systems, model catalogs, priority queues, and auditable APIs.
• Build reproducible training infrastructure, experiment tracking, model registries, evaluation tooling, and end-to-end data lineage.
• Develop GPU cost tracking, quotas, fairness mechanisms, orchestration, and multi-tenant platform capabilities.
• Design APIs, SDKs, React dashboards, high-throughput data pipelines, and complex platform subsystems.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD, observability, production troubleshooting, resilience, and technical documentation.
• Mentor SDE I/II engineers, review designs, and align technical decisions across AI Engineering, Research, Operations, and Annotation.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience, or 3+ years of highly accelerated specialized experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming skills in at least one relevant language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, cloud platforms, Linux, container orchestration, and cloud security and scalability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability, operational readiness, troubleshooting, and automated validation.
• Strong technical communication, problem-solving, analytical, mentoring, and collaborative design skills.
