Head of Security (AI)

What you will do

• Own product security across the platform, embedding secure-by-design practices, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews into the software development lifecycle.
• Lead vulnerability management, penetration testing, remediation, authentication and authorization requirements, tenant isolation, and privileged access controls.
• Own security for cloud infrastructure and internal environments, including the security roadmap, risk management, policies, governance, and incident response.
• Build AI-powered workflows for investigations, governance, policy enforcement, monitoring, detection, and repetitive security operations.
• Own the ISMS and continuously maintain ISO 27001, SOC 2, audit readiness, evidence collection, control monitoring, and customer security reviews.
• Act as Customer Zero by implementing Geordie securely, validating new capabilities in production, supporting customer and prospect security reviews, and growing a lean security team.

Requirements

• Experience scaling security at a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company, either as a security leader or senior security team member ready to own the function.
• Strong hands-on experience in cloud security, application security, and security engineering.
• Experience operating as an individual contributor while building security functions from first principles.
• Experience maintaining security programs aligned with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Strong understanding of modern software development, cloud infrastructure, secure engineering, and collaboration with engineering organizations.
• Proactive, pragmatic, independent, and curious about AI and AI-native security programs.
