Nano-assembly Lead (Quantum Computing)

Salary: €72,000–€81,000 gross yearly base salary

hirify.global is a Paris-based quantum technology startup building a universal quantum computer using carbon nanotubes as the building blocks of its quantum processors.

What you will do

• Lead a nano-assembly team of three research engineers and organize their work efficiently.
• Improve custom nano-assembly vacuum setups to increase throughput and yield.
• Design and validate mechanical, electrical, and chemical processes that improve assembled-qubit quality.
• Collaborate with the software team on control software, data storage, and data-analysis infrastructure.
• Collect, analyze, summarize, and present experimental data.

Requirements

• At least three years of R&D experience or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Experience managing R&D engineers and organizing their work.
• Project management experience.
• Experience designing and fabricating hardware and experimental setups.
• Experience using Python for hardware control and data analysis.
• Good oral and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductors or high-vacuum systems.
• Experience with materials characterization techniques such as SEM, TEM, AFM, or probe stations.
• Experience working with carbon nanotubes.
