Principal Security Engineer (Solana)

What you will do

• Set the technical direction for hirify.global's Solana and SVM practice.
• Port fully homomorphic encryption primitives to the Solana runtime and design confidential token standards, SDK patterns, and developer abstractions.
• Lead Solana workstreams from architecture and implementation through audit preparation, deployment, and post-launch hardening.
• Build production-grade programs and libraries, addressing storage, compute, governance, upgradability, and confidential DeFi design.
• Lead client-facing roadmap and design discussions and collaborate with security researchers on protocol-level threat analysis.
• Represent hirify.global in Solana ecosystem and standards discussions while contributing to open-source libraries and tooling.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of production experience building Solana programs that other users depend on.
• Proven ownership of architecture and delivery for multi-quarter technical workstreams.
• Deep knowledge of the SVM, including account models, PDAs, CPIs, compute budgets, rent, account lifecycles, versioned transactions, address lookup tables, and program governance.
• Production experience with Anchor and direct runtime development, plus a security-first approach to auditing, breaking, or hardening systems.
• Contributions to Solana standards or ecosystem initiatives such as SIMDs, SPL, Token-2022, or Wallet Standard, and experience working with a foundation or core protocol team.
• Fluent English required for client-facing communication, alongside an AI-native workflow and production experience shipping an AI-powered tool, agent, or automation pipeline.

Nice to have

• Public standing in the Solana ecosystem through widely used programs, published research, or conference talks.
• Background in fully homomorphic encryption, zero-knowledge systems, or applied cryptography.
• Experience with compute-unit optimization, low-overhead runtimes, audits, security research, or AI-assisted security work.
• Hands-on experience with non-EVM ecosystems such as Move-based chains, Stellar/Soroban, Arbitrum Stylus, or Starknet.
