Lead Blockchain Security Developer (Canton)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development of the hirify.global Contracts Library for Daml, including vaults, hooks, RBAC, credentials, messaging gateways, and accounts.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of privacy-preserving DEX, lending, cross-chain stablecoin settlement, and confidential auction reference implementations.
• Implement and maintain OZ Daml versions of CIP-56, CIP-86, CIP-103, and CIP-104 while coordinating specification and middleware alignment with external partners.
• Lead roadmap, design, and milestone discussions with Digital Asset, the Canton Foundation, and ChainSafe.
• Collaborate with auditors and security researchers on threat models, audit preparation, and full-stack reviews.
• Build AI agents, skills, and workflows; contribute security and developer-experience feedback to Canton, Splice, the Daml SDK, and the Splice Wallet Kernel.

Requirements

• Production fluency with Daml, including templates, choices, controllers, observers, signatories, multi-party authorization, sub-transaction views, and propose/accept patterns.
• At least 3 years of experience in UTXO-based protocol development and at least 3 years of production DeFi engineering experience.
• Demonstrable experience auditing, breaking, or hardening production systems through threat models, audit reports, responsible disclosures, or equivalent work.
• Experience designing reusable libraries or SDKs, including extensibility patterns such as hooks, modular components, and override points.
• Production exposure to at least one major cross-chain messaging protocol and experience with institutional compliance, custody, credential, or attestation flows.
• Daily AI-native development workflow and at least one non-trivial AI-powered tool, agent, or automation pipeline shipped to production.

Nice to have

• Cryptography or financial-engineering background.
• Institutional finance experience involving capital markets, custody, compliance, RWA tokenization, or settlement.
• Experience with Starknet, Stellar/Soroban, Arbitrum Stylus, Aptos, Move-based chains, or other non-EVM ecosystems.
• Open-source contributions to widely used smart-contract or AI-tooling libraries.
