What you will do

• Guide scalable architecture decisions across robotics, AI, and infrastructure.
• Lead productization from prototypes to robust production systems.
• Establish code quality, testing, and DevOps standards.
• Contribute hands-on to critical parts of the software stack.
• Drive software and robotics system certification.
• Develop and mentor team members while aligning technical direction across diverse skill sets.

Requirements

• Track record designing, scaling, and operating production-grade software systems.
• Strong system-level thinking with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Experience shipping complex production software for edge ML devices in robotics, autonomous driving, drones, or IoT.
• Ability to make high-impact architectural decisions and work hands-on in code.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience guiding teams and raising engineering standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics middleware or real-time systems.
• Background in safety-critical or certified environments.
• Experience building telemetry or remote operation systems.
• Experience scaling deep tech products into production.
• Experience with agile project management and technical team leadership.
