Network Deployment Technician

Location: On-site in Phoenix, AZ

What you will do

• Act as the technical lead for live network installations, managing pre-install calls and shift handoffs.
• Perform real-time troubleshooting of ISP circuits, VLANs, DHCP, IPSec tunnels, and firewall configurations.
• Serve as the final technical gatekeeper, validating hardware and network performance before customer activation.
• Document deployment progress and proactively surface blockers to technical project managers.
• Partner with Operations Engineering to identify failure patterns and develop new playbooks and automated tools.
• Translate field insights into hardware and software improvements to enhance the technician experience.

Requirements

• Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments and make technical decisions under pressure.
• Experience partnering directly with field technicians and translating technical concepts into clear guidance.
• Systematic thinking to identify operational pain points and build scalable processes.
• Must be available to work one of the following shifts: Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat, Sun-Thu, or Thu-Mon.
