Director, Virtual Utilization Review (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - Nationwide; travel and onsite work at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required, up to 25%

Salary: $101,600–$145,000 annually, based on experience, plus eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Build trusted client relationships and act as a strategic partner on KPIs, SLAs, performance, satisfaction, and outcomes.
• Oversee complex, multi-client utilization review and utilization management operations.
• Drive measurable improvements in productivity, performance, and SLA attainment using dashboards and analytics.
• Lead technology adoption and large-scale change initiatives across people, processes, and systems.
• Partner with clinical documentation improvement and other cross-functional teams on process and system improvements.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a globally distributed team of 125–175 employees, including at least three leaders as direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current RN license.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in multi-client utilization review or utilization management operations.
• Experience in revenue cycle management or equivalent healthcare leadership, including management of geographically dispersed teams across the US and international locations.
• Demonstrated client relationship management, organizational transformation, and change management experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, database, spreadsheet, and EMR skills; Power BI and project management tools are preferred.
