TL;DR
Lead AI Kernel Engineer (AI): Designing and optimizing high-performance kernels for Tensor Contract Processor architectures with an accent on AI model integration and hardware-software co-optimization. Focus on profiling, kernel generation automation, and enabling end-to-end programming on RNGD-accelerated AI models.

Location: Must be based in Seoul, South Korea (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Design and implement efficient kernels on the proprietary kernel programming stack targeting Tensor Contract Processor architectures.
  • Diagnose and optimize kernel performance using profiling tools and roofline analysis for RNGD-accelerated AI models.
  • Develop automated kernel generation and optimization workflows for AI workloads.
  • Build diagnostic tools and testbeds to ensure robust kernel validation.
  • Drive end-to-end programming enablement by creating reproducible guides and reference implementations.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in low-level systems programming targeting XPU (NPU, GPU) architectures.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, research, and product teams.

Nice to have

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience optimizing high-performance kernels on AI accelerators like GPU or TPU.
  • Deep understanding of XPU architecture, including computation patterns and data movement.
  • Experience with AI model architectures such as Diffusion, Mamba, and VLA.
  • Background in designing efficient deep learning architectures and algorithms.
