Technical Lead (Payments)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Lead a team of 3–6 software engineers.
• Own and evolve a core system, defining and executing an ambitious technology roadmap.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems end to end.
• Partner with Product to define OKRs and day-to-day priorities.
• Coach engineers through continuous improvement and build a high-performance team.
• Collaborate with Recruiting to attract strong engineering talent.

Requirements

• 3+ years of successful experience as a technical lead working on complex problems.
• Strong experience with data technologies, including RDBMS, NoSQL, and message queues.
• Expertise in software architecture and the ability to write and review code.
• Experience working in an agile environment and optimizing team productivity.
• Ability to query, analyze, and use data to support decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn or evaluate new technologies quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with extremely high-scale distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of security or cryptography.
• Experience building systems in AWS.
