Cyber Security Researcher (Emerging Technologies) (Cybersecurity, Generative AI, IoT): Researching emerging technologies and assessing their security implications with an accent on vulnerability research, code auditing, reverse engineering, and black-box testing. Focus on uncovering technical limitations, developing proof-of-concept simulations, and analyzing security across diverse technology domains.

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site

Company

CSIT is a Singapore Ministry of Defence agency focused on cybersecurity research and emerging technologies.

What you will do

Research emerging technologies including generative AI, IoT, and the metaverse.
Analyze technical limitations and security implications of new technologies.
Conduct vulnerability research, code audits, black-box testing, and reverse engineering.
Develop proof-of-concept simulations for in-depth security assessments.

Requirements

Degree or equivalent background in infocomm security, computer science, computer or electrical engineering, information technology, mathematics, or a related field.
Strong interest in infocomm security, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Technical experience in at least two of the following areas: Windows security, mobile security, network security, cloud security, embedded device security, or application security.
Candidates must be Singapore citizens.

Nice to have

Background in C/C++ and reverse engineering.
Creative, innovative, self-motivated, and independent working style.
