Autonomous Vehicle Detailer

Location: Phoenix, AZ; onsite depot work

What you will do

• Wash, vacuum, sanitize, and detail autonomous vehicles to published standards.
• Clean camera and lidar sensor surfaces using documented procedures.
• Move vehicles between charging stalls, connect charging equipment, and escalate charging faults.
• Respond to biohazard incidents using OSHA blood-borne pathogen protocols, PPE, and provided training.
• Log vehicle status in fleet software, communicate readiness in Google Chat, and stage vehicles for deployment handoff.

Requirements

• Prior experience with high-volume vehicle cleaning, rental car preparation, dealership reconditioning, or professional detailing.
• Comfort using phone or tablet applications, chat tools, and basic status-logging systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify sensor, cable, and battery issues.
• Ability to follow documented SOPs and escalate issues outside established procedures.
• Ability to stand and move for the full shift, lift up to 20 lbs, and work outdoors in heat, humidity, and rain.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving history, and satisfactory motor vehicle record required.
