Staff Collaboration Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do

• Design and develop enterprise collaboration platforms covering chat, conferencing, file sharing, and email.
• Drive technical roadmaps, domain ownership, platform resilience, performance, and reliability.
• Build advanced automation, proactive issue detection, remediation, and integrations with communication tools and business workflows.
• Implement AI-powered solutions and evaluate custom-built versus commercial collaboration systems.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical reviews and architectural guidance.
• Lead continuous optimization, performance tuning, and technical debt reduction.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 4+ years in platform, systems, or infrastructure roles.
• Deep expertise in at least one collaboration or communication domain, such as conferencing, chat, messaging, or integration frameworks.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
• Strong experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and observability or monitoring.
• Experience with scalable architectures, containerization, and identity and access management, including SSO and RBAC.
• Singapore citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI or automation agents into enterprise systems or developing real-time collaboration stacks.
• Performance engineering, latency optimization, or high-throughput systems experience.
• Experience with commercial solutions, custom-built modules, or open-source technologies.
• Experience in regulated or high-security environments.
