Senior Platform Engineer (Testing Platform)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do

• Architect and build a scalable on-premise testing platform with device management, automated test execution, and result analysis.
• Develop an elastic grid of physical and virtual devices that provides on-demand access to diverse testing environments.
• Validate and optimise platform performance, reliability, scalability, and the underlying VMware and Red Hat virtualisation infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and Security teams to deploy and integrate platform services.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical decisions, and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, user manuals, and server hardware operations.

Requirements

• Engineering or Computer Science background with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimising VMware and Red Hat virtualisation technologies.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
• Understanding of functional, regression, performance, and usability testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Singapore Citizenship is required.
