TL;DR
Frontend Software Engineer III (L.68/99) (Fintech) (TypeScript/React): Building and scaling a performant core frontend platform for a financial services product with an accent on modular architecture, accessible design systems, and frontend performance. Focus on designing scalable UI systems, integrating APIs and serverless services, and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid with three days per week in the office (Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day of choice), with the option to request extra remote time.
Salary: €45,000–€53,000 gross per annum.

What you will do
- Develop features for a scalable, performant core frontend platform and participate in code reviews.
- Apply frontend design patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to the technical vision and foundations of a maintainable UI platform.
- Research and select frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Design modular systems that support evolving business requirements.
- Optimize application performance through lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in frontend development delivering high-quality web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and state management libraries such as TanStack Query.
- Experience with component libraries, design systems, Storybook, Headless UI, or Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of modern build systems, REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
- Experience maintaining Node applications in production and using observability and logging tools.
- Experience maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Nice to have
- Experience with Next, TanStack Start, PostgreSQL, AWS Lambda, S3, SNS, or SQS.
- Familiarity with Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Sentry, Kibana, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Logstash.
