Group Accounting & Consolidation Analyst (Finance)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work with weekly travel to the company location in Emilia Romagna

Gross annual salary: €40,000–€50,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Support group financial consolidation and prepare consolidation adjustments and reporting packages.
• Maintain general ledger accounting activities, including recording, classifying, and reconciling transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and support closing activities.
• Analyze financial data, trends, variances, and business performance indicators.
• Support IFRS and local regulatory compliance, as well as internal and external audits.
• Improve ERP systems, accounting processes, reporting tools, budgeting, and forecasting workflows.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with honors.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial analysis, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English, plus availability for weekly travel to Emilia Romagna.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Big4 firm or international company.
• Knowledge of SAP modules and consolidation reporting tools.
