Assistant Financial Controller (Finance): Supporting financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit coordination, tax obligations, and financial controls for a global flow-control and instrumentation company with an accent on local accounting, regulatory compliance, and asset management. Focus on maintaining accurate reports, remediating control deficiencies, coordinating audits, and advising on the accounting impact of capital investments.

What you will do

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
Support the Financial Controller with statutory reporting and local accounting matters.
Contribute to fixed asset impairment reviews and advise on the accounting implications of major capital investments.
Monitor and remediate accounting control deficiencies.
Coordinate local internal and external audit activities and provide requested documentation.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory reporting obligations, including asset verification and locally required payment processes.

Requirements

Professional accounting qualification.
At least 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, is strongly preferred.
Experience in a Big 4 environment is advantageous.

Nice to have

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience with Power Query or Power BI.
