TL;DR
Platform Engineer - Data Exploration Platform Management (Data Platform): Developing and operating reliable, scalable, secure data exploration platform solutions for data exploration, visualization, and analytics with an accent on platform resiliency, performance, security, and data processing. Focus on optimizing query performance, managing upgrades and system resources, enforcing access controls, and supporting data analytics solutions.
Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do
- Develop and deploy reliable, scalable, and secure Data Exploration Platform solutions.
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, configuration changes, system resources, and utilization.
- Optimize data processing and query performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve platform incidents.
- Improve platform processes and apply industry standards and engineering best practices.
- Implement and enforce data access controls, authentication, authorization, security, and compliance measures.
- Provide technical expertise, training, and guidance to stakeholders using the platform.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools, including Python, R, or SQL.
- Understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and data quality principles.
- Competence in Scala, Python, or Java.
- Competence with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Nice to have
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL, data governance, and data visualization.
- Experience with cluster management and tools such as Ansible and Kubernetes.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Tableau Server design, implementation, and maintenance.
