Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, train, and iterate on machine learning models and algorithms for personalized product-result ranking.
• Identify machine learning opportunities, propose experiments, and build models that improve customer conversion and engagement.
• Own ML solutions end to end, from problem formulation and data exploration through validation and iteration.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders using Git, code reviews, and reproducible experimentation practices.
• Partner with Marketing to develop and improve machine-learning-driven bidding and targeting methodologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant machine learning experience and a graduate degree in a technical or quantitative discipline.
• Experience building and applying machine learning models with measurable business impact.
• Strong hands-on skills in Python, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and SQL.
• Experience working in production-oriented codebases and using Git for version control.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous business problems and translate them into effective ML solutions using quantitative and programming skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Bulgarian.
