Analyst II, Quality Control (Night Shift)

Location: Onsite in West Chester, Ohio, USA. Requires work in cGMP manufacturing and laboratory areas, including cleanrooms up to Class 100 (ISO 5), and a rotating 12-hour night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. with weekend and holiday coverage. The role may require 24/7 on-call support.

Salary: $60,000–$86,250 per year.

What you will do

• Perform testing and on-floor sampling of finished products, raw materials, stability, in-process, and water samples.
• Review QC data and execute laboratory test protocols supporting development and validation activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory testing equipment, including HPLC systems.
• Support laboratory investigations, QC method updates, and SOP revisions.
• Perform environmental monitoring activities to support regulatory requirements at a sterile manufacturing site.
• Collaborate with laboratory, operations, and QA groups while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of cGXP requirements and familiarity with production operations.
• Proficiency in mathematics, laboratory methods, computer skills, basic statistics, and quality control terminology.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, learn procedures quickly, handle hazardous materials safely, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to gown, follow aseptic behavior requirements, stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work rotating night shifts.

Nice to have

• QC chemistry laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, HPLC, laboratory operations, and safety procedures.
